Early Years & Education

Ms. Arati Jyoti grew up in Kathmandu and completed her high school education from Bhanu Bhakta Memorial School. She went on to complete her Bachelors from St. Xaviers College. Arati has a wide range of interests and completed several creative courses in Fashion Design, Interior Design and Bakery.

Joining the Family Business

She dabbled in her first entrepreneurial venture by opening and Italian restaurant called Northgate, which she later sold. In 2009, she co-founded and established an Architecture design firm called Draw Studio Consultancy which is active till date. In 2018 she became part of the Jyoti Group family business and looked after the Philips Lighting vertical, which had been in the family for over 38 years. Her goal is to push the Phillips brand and products and take it all over Nepal, a goal which she has made progress on, in spite of the pandemic.

She is also responsible for overseeing real estate and interior design related projects in relation to acquisition and Show Room designs. She is open-minded, and values the importance of work-life balance and inculcates good habits to ensure that she maintains a healthy lifestyle.
